General Council of the Assemblies of God

About the Mission

Founded in April 1914 during a convention in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the Assemblies of God has grown into the world's largest Pentecostal denomination. Organized as a cooperative fellowship, the General Council serves as the administrative hub for its constituent districts, processing credentials for ministers, supporting global missions via AGWM, and anchoring its core theology around the Four Core Beliefs: Salvation, Divine Healing, Baptism in the Holy Spirit, and the Second Coming.
